1. Floriental Studio · ⭐ 10.0
(314 reviews)
+2 photos
Charlton House, 27 Ardwick Green N, Manchester M12 6DL, United Kingdom
Floriental is a flower and tea studio in Ardwick, not a shop with a window: bouquets made to order, wreaths taught at a table, Chinese tea poured alongside. Before you set off, know that you come by arrangement, not on impulse. Two errands suit this place. One is a gift meant to say something particular — a hand-tied seasonal bouquet, a dried arrangement still on the shelf next…
2. Northern Flower · ⭐ 9.1
(213 reviews)
+2 photos
58 Tib St, Greater, Manchester M4 1LG, United Kingdom
A Northern Quarter shop that looks like a potting shed and behaves like a local business of nearly twenty years: cacti and potted trees out on the pavement, a small team of qualified florists inside, and a van of their own that takes every local order out by hand. Half the work is ordinary gifting done briskly — birthdays, anniversaries, a new baby, an apology, a thank-you for…
3. The Flower Lounge · ⭐ 9.9
(147 reviews)
+2 photos
98 Barlow Moor Rd, Manchester M20 2PN, United Kingdom
Some florists do weddings; this Didsbury boutique has been judged the best in the country at them. Open since 2009 under founder and lead florist Sian Wild, it is the south Manchester shop people book a year out for a marquee — and also walk into on a Tuesday because someone needs cheering up. Weddings are the headline. The shop won National Wedding Florist of the Year at The W…
4. Flourish Manchester · ⭐ 9.3
(122 reviews)
+2 photos
29 Barlow Moor Rd, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6TN, United Kingdom
A flower shop that is just as much a plant shop. The Didsbury branch of Flourish is where the south of the city picks up something made that morning without ordering ahead, and where a housewarming present can be a pot rather than an armful of stems. A second shop, run the same way, stands under the Deansgate Square towers in the centre.
5. Clocktower Florist · ⭐ 9.7
(116 reviews)
+2 photos
Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Oxford St, Manchester M60 7HA, United Kingdom
A florist built into the entrance of the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, on the southern edge of the city centre where the university quarter begins. You can take something already wrapped, or stand at the bench while a bouquet is put together for you — which is the answer for anyone whose deadline is measured in minutes rather than days.
6. Flower Potts Ltd · ⭐ 9.9
(110 reviews)
+2 photos
9 Chanters Cl, Higher Blackley, Manchester M9 6UY, United Kingdom
A studio rather than a shop floor: nothing sits ready-made on a counter in Higher Blackley, and every order is built for the person who asked for it. The way in is a call or a message; the way out is a van heading somewhere in Greater Manchester, or a collection from the studio itself. Most of the work is ordinary gifting done carefully — a birthday, a new baby, a thank-you, an…
7. Flowers by Kerry Mac · ⭐ 9.7
(102 reviews)
+2 photos
5, Kingsway Buildings, Kingsway, Manchester M19 1PH, United Kingdom
A family-run shop in Burnage that tells you what it can do before you pay: type in the recipient's postcode and the site decides whether your order is a local van drop or a tracked parcel, and shows the cut-off that applies. Everything is made in its own workshop, and the site runs a live feed of what is on the bench and what has just gone out.
«It was a bittersweet celebration, my mum's first birthday without my amazing dad . I wan…»
8. Fleur de Ioana · ⭐ 9.3
(82 reviews)
+2 photos
239 Wilmslow Rd, Manchester M14 5LW, United Kingdom
A small independent shop in Rusholme, trading under its owner's name: Ioana is a flower designer rather than a shopkeeper, and most of what leaves here is put together for one person and one date. It sits on the busy southern approach into the city, in a dense parade of shops and restaurants between the student districts and the university quarter.
9. Bouquet & Balloons · ⭐ 9.5
(73 reviews)
+2 photos
170 Chapman St, Manchester M18 8WD, United Kingdom
A neighbourhood shop in Gorton that does two jobs at once: flowers and balloons. That pairing decides who walks in — the birthday, the christening, the congratulations that needs a helium display as well as a bouquet — and it is why people here often close the whole present in one visit instead of two.
10. Flower Place · ⭐ 9.3
(71 reviews)
+2 photos
378 Moston Ln, Manchester M40 9LX, United Kingdom
A small shop on the main parade in Moston, in the north of the city, open since early 2022 and run by people who had been arranging flowers for well over a decade before the shutters ever went up. It works the way a neighbourhood florist should: something ready to take away, something built to order, and a delivery van that stays on this side of Manchester.
